Fundraising
MPOM hosts various fundraisers throughout the year to provide additional income for the club.
Without the funds these events help raise, MPOM could not continue to provide the breadth services we offer our members.
These include monthly meetings, assistance for members in need, community outreach, socials, and much, much, more!
We are thrilled to offer an opportunity for professional family portraits at a very reasonable price thanks to MPOM member (and mother of triplets), Allison Lezon. See Allison’s beautiful work on her website: www.lialezon.com.
The cost for the photography session is $75 per family (check payable to MPOM). You must pre-pay to secure your spot. Appointments will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Times will be published to members via email/BigTent along with scheduling instructions. After your session, you will receive proofs electronically and be able to select your "top 12." Allison will then send you the final poses, allowing you to print your own pictures/cards at your convenience.
If you've ever had professional pictures taken or looked into it, you know this is a STEAL!
Garage Sale:
MPOM's Annual Garage Sale, held each October, is one of the club’s largest fundraisers. This “cash only” sale is open to the public and offers a wide selection of baby/toddler/child items including clothing, shoes, toys, books, DVDs, nursery furniture, equipment (car seats, pack-n-plays, swings, strollers), and much more! This event is also unique because it goes beyond children’s items. Shoppers will find home décor, furniture, electronics, adult shoes/accessories, housewares, and holiday items just to name a few.
Please refer to the current year’s Garage Sale flyer for specific details on date/time/location. We encourage both members and non-members to sell their items, so please email fundraising@mpom.net for more information. Sell, shop, volunteer…or do all 3! We look forward to seeing you at our Annual Garage Sale!
Kroger:
Through your Kroger Plus Card and their Neighbor-to-Neighbor Donation Program, MPOM can earn money back on your grocery purchases. Every time you shop at Kroger and use your enrolled Kroger Plus Card, Kroger will contribute a percentage of your eligible purchases to the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation fund. Once a card is scanned with the barcode, it will be active for the remainder of the program year.
Tom Thumb:
If you shop at Tom Thumb, stop at the Customer Service desk and ask them to link your Reward Card to account #9740. MPOM will automatically earn 1% of your total bill. If you don't already have a Reward Card, you can get one at no charge from the Customer Service desk.
Amazon.com:
Click this Amazon Website link. MPOM will get up to 6% of your purchase price each time you shop at no extra cost to you.
InfantHouse.com:
For anyone who purchases baby proofing products through InfantHouse.com's website, a donation of 5% of the product sales will be made to MPOM. Please write "MPOM" in the coupon code box of your order for this donation to occur.
