 Some days seem endless...my patience grows thin!

As I tuck them in bed, to myself I say

2009-2010 MPOM Membership

MPOM Membership opens the following doors for you:

  •  Participation in all children’s socials and play dates

  • Access to our online community on Big Tent with group forums and daily news updates

  • Attending monthly lectures lead by area professionals on hot topics like discipline, child safety, and preschool education

  • Saving money on baby gear by purchasing--and selling--items at our annual fall garage sale

  • Meeting other expecting/new parents/parents of toddlers and pre-schoolers at intimate monthly meetings to share strategies and exchange ideas

  • Participation in all Moms’ social activities – who doesn’t like a mom’s night out?!

  • Support during times of need when on bed rest, in the hospital or after surgery…or after having another child(ren)!

  •  Browsing the MPOM library to conduct research on pregnancy and child rearing

  •  Complimentary memberships to our affiliate organizations such as Texas Mothers of Multiples and the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs

Our Adopted Family

MPOM has adopted two brothers this year at Forest Vista Elementary School. We intend to donate items quarterly to this family.

Items needed for Child 1 (age 8) are:

  • Pants sized 7/8
  • Shirts sized 6/7

Items needed for Child 2 (age 6) are:

  • Pants sized 6/7
  • Shirts sized 6/7

Food is always needed for both boys as well. Please contact Brenda if you have something to donate.

T-shirt Fundraiser - Order Now!

The T-shirts have been ordered but please let Amber know if you'd still like a pair. This year, we'll feature kids' shirts reading "Peanut Butter" and "Jelly." The first will be a yellow with chocolate writing; the second will be purple with white writing. They're $30 per pair; sizing runs 2T-7. Order big for longer wear. Look for them at the General Meetings or contact Amber.
 

Looking for a Nanny?

A great Nanny has has moved back to Flower Mound and is looking for work. Contact Andrea for her name and number if interested. She comes highly recommended and really loves multiples.

Melissa, a member of the Bellaire Texas Mother of Multiples recommends her nanny who is moving to Dallas (Addison or Carrolton area) in late December/early January of 2009. She is a junior in college and will be transferring to be near family.
